Netter Atlas Anatomy

Good human anatomy books?

I’m looking for some good human anatomy textbooks. I know Netter’s atlas is good but I need something that not only illustrates but also explains the functions, so it needs to be more of a textbook. Anyone know of anything like this? Thanks!

get a physiology book because anatomy book wont go in-depth. I highly recommend Guyton and Hall, Human Physiology and Mechanisms -sixth edition. Although they were dead, the books are renewed. but not much has changed . just get the old edition( it is hella cheap) . This textbook has very little pictures , a lot of explanations and functions . ” a lot” that you will get be Surprised how suck our college textbooks are. Seriously, i did not know how good this book was until i took my physiology class. i used textbook for my science classes in general . i used this book for my two under-grad classes.
