Oil Early

Oil Early
Is it ok to drink Castor Oil to induce labor as early as 37 weeks?

I am 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my second child. I am so miserable. I never felt any of this with my first so this is all so unexpected and painful. I am cramping, having so much lower pressure, naseu, back pain and just plain uncomfortable. I really want to go into labor. I know after 37 weeks the baby is concider full term and was thinking of tryin castor oil. Is it safe?

Personally, I wouldn’t. My cousin recommended it, but doing research, it can make you extremely sick. I had my first baby 4 months ago! And to be honest for some girls their pregnancies are wonderful, but I’m telling I had every single symptom there could possibly be, and I couldn’t WAIT to have him. They say try to have sex to induce labor… Didn’t work. Honestly, when the baby wants to, they’ll come. And when your desperate, and I was, but not to the point of my health, then the little booger’s NEVER want to come out. I went 2 weeks past my due date, I was induced, made it to 6 cm hard labor, and had to have a c-section lol… But anyways Good Luck, and I wouldn’t put youself through it. Have sex and enjoy it lol, and if it doesn’t work, just think, it’ll be over eventually. Just think of when your staring at him/her, you’ll forget about everything!!

A Life of Magic Chemistry: Autobiographical Reflections of a Nobel Prize Winner

$30

George Olah takes us on a remarkable journey from Budapest to Cleveland to Los Angeles with a stopover in Stockholm, of course. The modernizing Sultan Qabus, supported by the British, seized power by a coup in 1970, confirmed Oman’’s position as a key state in the Persian Gulf region. This illuminating work is based on state documents from Europe, US, Japan and the Arab world covering Oman and Western geopolitical policy.

A-4 Skyhawk Blue Angels 1/40 Scale Model Aircraft

A-4 Skyhawk Blue Angels 1/40 Scale Model Aircraft

$140.95

The Blue Angels chose the A-4 in the early 70s, replacing the thundering F-4. By adopting the Skyhawk, the team now had an aircraft that was much more aerobatic than before. This allowed for a tighter display and the ability to keep much of the performance in front of the audience. The A-4 Skyhawk was manufactured by Douglas Aircraft Corporation and was designed by Ed Heinemann. Its primary users are United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. Its maiden flight happened on the 22nd of June 1954 but it was introduced in 1956. The A-4 Skyhawk is a lightweight, single engine attack aircraft. It is said to be one of the most famous attack aircrafts ever designed. The short range attack and close support aircraft was originally intended for the U.S. Navy and Marine forces. The A-4F variant was a refinement of A-4E. It has extra avionics housed in a hump on the fuselage spine. Some of this variant served with Blue Angels acrobatic team during 1973 to 1986. The Blue Angels are the best U.S. military aerobatic team. They fly different kinds of aircraft including Grumman Hellcats, Bearcat, Panther, and the Skyhawk. The A-4 Skyhawk was chosen in the early 70s over F-4 as Skyhawk is said to be more fuel efficient than the Phantom. It was chosen because it was the aircraft that was more appropriate that time in the midst of an oil crisis. With the A-4 used by the team, different display was done. The Skyhawk was more aerobatic than the other aircraft. This allowed them to have a tighter display and be able to keep their performance in front of the audience. The pilots of the Blue Angels enjoyed flying the A-4 Skyhawk because it is easy to maintain and the accident rate was quite low. Eventually, there were new aircrafts that replaced the Skyhawk. It retired in 1976 for the U.S. Navy while in 1998 in U.S. Marine Corps. However it is still active in other countries. Dimensions: 17.25 L x 16.5 W x 8 H

AB & Marvin Jenkins: The Studebaker Connection and the Mormon Meteors

$17.52

Ab Jenkins drove for Studebaker in speedway and road races during the late 1920’s and early 30’s, then took a Pierce-Arrow roadster to Bonneville, Utah, for the first-ever timed run on the Salt Flats. His 112 mile an hour record for 24 hours made him world-famous. In 1935 the Duesenberg Company converted one of its supercharged luxury cars into The Mormon Meteor for him to race at Bonneville against such men as John Cobb, Malcolm Campbell and Captain George Eyston. Repowered in 1936 with a 1,750 cubic inch Curtiss fighter plane engine, the car was re-named Meteor II and returned to the Salt Flats to set more records. In 1937, with sponsorship from major oil, tire and spark plug companies, he built Meteor III, a huge aero-engine monster that carried him to more records on the salt. Ab’s son, Marvin, was a racer in his own right, driving one of the Studebakers more than 90 miles an hour in 1931. After the war Marvin was tapped to drive the famed Novi Indianapolis car at Bonneville, where he set Class D records in 1947. In Ab’s final drive, he and Marvin teamed up in 1956 to drive a Pontiac to a 24 hour stock car record of more than 118 miles an hour.

$21.99

Ada, named after the eldest daughter of Jeff Reed, a founder of the town, is located in the east central part of Oklahoma. It is the county seat of Pontotoc County and was called the worst town for criminal activity in the Indian Territory for the lack of justice. The west end block of Main Street was called the Bucket of Blood and harbored many murderers and outlaws until, in 1909, the hanging of four men in a stable advised all who would hide in Ada to leave or suffer the same fate. The murder of former U.S. marshal Gus Bobbitt was the catalyst for this desperate action. The hanging is one of the most talked about tales of the early West. Growing from the oil, cotton, and cement industries, Ada is known as the city of clear spring water. The Chickasaw Nation has its headquarters in Ada and has been a fount of industry and beauty in the town.

Alberta Supreme Court at 100

$22.95

This volume marks the 2007 centenary of the Supreme Court of Alberta. These essays examine the extent to which the Court articulated an Albertan response to the varied legal questions of the past century. Canvassing the Court’’s jurisprudential history, the volume includes thematic essays examining First Nations” hunting rights, oil and gas law, water law, gender, the Hutterites and religious freedom, and family law. Additional essays detail the court’’s history through its early personnel, the World War I crisis over the court’’s independence, and the question of whether the court voiced an Albertan take on the constitution. What emerges is not the image of a maverick judiciary, but rather a court that pursued legal principles that would stand anywhere in the nation.

20 X 24 Oil Painting On Canvas Blue Horse I – Monaco is a handmade oil painting inspired by the style of Franz Marc. It would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves horses. Franz Marc was born on February 8, 1880, in Munich, Germany. He studied at the Munich Art Academy, and in the early years of the Twentieth Century became an influential figure in the birth of abstract art. In 1911 Marc founded the almanac Der Blaue Reiter along with Wassily Kandinsky, and was a principal member of the First German Salon Automne in 1913. Much of his work was based upon exuberant color and profound emotional and spiritual states. Franz Marc saw animals as innocent beings in harmony with nature. He attempted to paint the world from the animal’s perspective. Marc volunteered for service in World War I, and was killed near Verdun, France, on March 4, 1916. Despite his early death at the age of thirty-six, Marc was responsible for some of the most important pieces of the Expressionist movement. Why not grace your home with this reproduced masterpiece? Much of his work was based upon exuberant color and profound emotional and spiritual states. Franz Marc saw animals as innocent beings in harmony with nature. He attempted to paint the world from the animal’s perspective. Marc volunteered for service in World War I, and was killed near Verdun, France, on March 4, 1916.
